Of course, though not all developers can work on the more critical bugs. I generally work on applications, where bugs can be annoying but not critical. Regardless I think it would be useful to have the application testing system I mentioned. Now is probably not the time to refactor Tracker, but if not it means that Tracker cannot really be improved much, because PoseView is so fragile. Anyone who has worked on Tracker has learned this, most recently Alexandre Deckner. He has already rewritten PoseView twice while experimenting, so I'm sure he could do so again, maybe with a little help this time. Given the resources we have and our intended vision for R1, it must be decided whether refactoring parts of Tracker now are worthwhile or not. But as long as we are not taking developers away from more critical bugs, it should not have that much a negative affect. While I belive rewriting code should generally be the last resort, sometimes it is necessary to fix design problems. I think with Tracker the biggest problem is just PoseView, so it isn't as if all of Tracker would need to be rewritten. -- Regards, Ryan
