This wiki on Easy Tasks helped me get my first contribution to Haiku. Off

tickets too.
There are lot of discussions happening here on mailing list. You can also
connect to #haiku channel
on freenode IRC. You can communicate via these two platforms.
Regarding plans for GSoC 2019, keep visiting Haiku's blog for updates. Or
someone might drop a mail
here regarding it.
We plan to apply to both GSoC and Outreachy this summer. No guarantees on
wether Google will accept us, as usual.
You can already look at our ideas list and start poking at some of the projects
to see if something in particular interests you.
Don't forget that our application process requires you to have made some
contributions to Haiku before you get selected, and it can never be too early
for that.
