I'd suggest you first try it without it :-)
But sure, it's as desirable as it is on any other system.
Right, I'll do it the straightforward way first and then lay the
groundwork. Then tackle the inheritance.
BTW, I'm not vanishing into thin air when GSoC is over. Worst case
scenario, I'll implement priority inheritance outside the GSoC
timeframe.
