Hi,

quite a while back there had been some talk about including Ryan's Jamfile-engine by default. Any progress on this topic?

It would be nice if any kind of build system is included by default, which can be used to build applications independently from the Haiku source tree, which also habdles Haiku specifics like .rdef resource files, etc.

Or did I just not look good enough?

IMO this would be an important feature at least as long as no IDE is included or readily availble to foster application development.

Cheers,
Rossi who's brain is totally jammed by a stupid non-working jam rule/ action to handle rdef files ...
