Hi all,
I would like to announce that on Sunday the 12th of April 2020, I
would like to run a Beta 2 status meeting. The goal is to give all
participants a good grip on the open issues and their priority. It
will also give some space to discuss the most pertinent issues, and to
see if we can organize resources around solving them.
In any other year, Easter Sunday may not be convenient, but now that
most of us are home anyway, we might as well make the most out of it.
So far Adrien and waddlesplash RSVP-ed, so we will have a lot of the
knowledge at the meeting.
The meeting will start at 20:00 GTM, and is designed to run for 1
hour, after which there is room for additional discussion. The meeting
will be organized on Freenode IRC, in the #haiku-dev channel. The goal
of the meeting is to identify the issues that are blocking or critical
and to make sure those are progressing. We will also go through any
issues that are brought into the meeting. The room will be open for
all.
If you have an issue you want to discuss, please let me know privately
before Friday the 10th at 23:59 GMT. For it to be discussed, you need
to either be present at the meeting, or leave a comment on the ticket
where you explain what the current status is, and in what area you
specifically need help. We have limited time, so I might need to make
some choices.
