This doesn't seem to be working for WebPositive at least. WebPositive
is not listed as an option under Preferred app drop down for the
application/"Be File URL" type in FileTypes preferences. Is it for
you?
I went a bit further and called update_mime_info("../add_on/Color
Pickers/", true, false, true); in my client app and even that did not
add the apps to the Preferred app drop down in FileTypes. Running
`mimeset -F --all "../add_on/Color Pickers/*"` from the command line
did add the apps to the Preferred app drop down in FileTypes though.
