Hi all,
I want to invite all stakeholders for a beta2 status meeting this
Saturday at 20:00 GMT. The meeting is held at the *haiku-beta2* IRC
channel on Freenode.
At this point in the beta 2 timeline [1], we are looking at branching
the repository, implying that we are ready to start stress-testing the
current state of the repository to iron out any issues that need to be
addressed.
There currently are 18 open tickets[2], with no blockers or critical
issues. There is one high priority issue (#14382), but those in
general don't hold up the release. If you are the owner of one of
these tickets and you cannot attend, please do leave a comment on the
ticket on the outlook of resolving it, and whether you want to
consider it to be upgraded in priority.
The agenda for Saturday is:
1. Review the ticket list in order of priority to identify whether any
of those needs to be updated to a higher priority [40 minutes]
2. Discuss whether there are any issues that need attention during the
r1beta2 cycle [15 minutes].
3. Discussion around whether the translation synchronisation frequency
can be increased [5 minutes]
Please respond to this message on #haiku-development if you want to
add additional points of discussion.
The outcome of the meeting is a go/no go for the branch decision.
Regards,
N>
