One other thing, in addition to all of the good things that Ingo suggested - it 
would be nice to know the size of the images when unzipped BEFORE downloading.

I haven't heard of a build factory before at all. My concept of what it was 
(until the link was fixed) was someplace you could pick your architecture, 
hardware, and optional packages and it would build a custom image for you, a 
bit more complicated than Mr. Phipps suggested. Maybe it wouldn't have to be 
compiled right then but just throw precompiled packages together for you. Thats 
what I *thought* it was, but it still sounds like a nifty idea anyway...
