Somewhere along the road we decided that it is good to have the
central repository under our control.There is more control over the
server side hooks (like the ones that generate our lightweight
changeset markers) as well as we have good experiences not being
dependent on an external party. Also, it does not really add a lot of
workload on the sysadmins: the subversion repository didn't either.

But feel free to work in any way that you like!
