Every os has it built in. Windows, Mac, Linux (Gnome, kde)

Before anyone says "patches welcome", i'm mostly spinning the idea out
there to see if there any interested developers looking for a UX project :-)


I've wanted this for a long time, but never did it because I didn't want to
handle the design bikeshed I knew would occur. If you care to
start/moderate that discussion, I'm willing to implement the feature, as
time allows.
