There's a small close button on each notification. There was one on the group header too, currently it's gone as well as the collapse button. This one may be rather useful, for example when you connect an IM application and get a notice for every single contact. It could also be a way to get more control on the notifications, such as "stop notifying stuff for this group". -- Adrien.
