I would prefer to get to the bottom of the problem instead of adding a work 
around for this, even though it probably doesn't matter much to any user if 
'%b' or '\n' is used, I like the latter better not only because it's closer to 
what a developer would expect, it's also different from the rest (ie. it's a 
control character not a substitute for some name), and thus makes the resulting 
preamble template easier to read.

Also, other components might run into the same problem sooner or later, anyway.
