Nice changes! BTW, did you fix the problem that often no speed string is generated at all because somehow the room is thought to be too small? Often the short time remaining string is then showing every two seconds and nothing is showing the other two seconds. I intended to fix this when I have the time, just wondering if your commit already addresses this as well.
