I can't find the time to test these changes at the moment. Just to make sure: it used to be that clicking the Deskbar icon opens the ~/config/settings/Mail/mailbox object. Which was by default the mail/in folder - I think, I always change it to a query for mail with status "New" and "Later". It's a bit an obscure feature and should probably be an option in the settings panel. Anyway, I hope I'm not stuck with an ordinary "New"-query.
