Theorically, any application ever written for BeOS R5 could be using one or more BeOS R5 system's apps signatures. What they could see, though, is an app doing absolutly nothing (or at best showing a alert : *app* not found/could not be launched) when some feature is invoked by the user. Anyway, I agree, it's bit overkill, in particular considering the amount of older apps that we can't fix or that we didn't have yet *ported* to Haiku. I guess it's far easier to help moving these apps to Haiku than bending backward that much for pure R5 apps interoperability. Bye. Philippe.
