Not at all, since ... a) set_timezone() doesn't have anything to do with the problem you mentioned and b) ICU comes with a tool (not on haiku yet) that allows updating the timezones embedded in libicu-dt. So once we've made that tools available, you should be able to update timezones on your running system. cheers, Oliver
