Also, at least for the cases where you can actually boot before
entering KDL, what you can do is to force entering KDL
(ALT+SHIFT+PRINTSCREEN+D) once then type continue. Not only will you
keyboard work when you force entry KDL, it will also work when you
enter KDL due to a real crash after that.
