Sure, one cannot guarantee perfect alignment with any limit. Even if you'd only want to catch 99% of the cases, you'd probably have to use a very long line limit, which doesn't really add to readability. I think the suggested style is a pretty good compromise.

Yes! just to clarify, i'm not complaining about the 80 char limit,
but looking to define allowed exceptions to this "soon to be official" column rule :)
