Indeed - all it really implies (although not explicitly) is that the
code can be used with a license that satisfies Haiku's requirements
(assumption would be MIT if the author is familiar with the project
already).

IMO, the copyright holder should explicitly state which license they
would like to release their code under when donating it to Haiku.
