Yeah, but that decision is not to be made now. We don't have any immediately
pending release. The milestones include everything they *should* contain. We
use priorities to mark the tickets that absolutely have to be in that
release.
Once the release process starts, we can start moving tickets out of the
immediate release milestone (on to the next one). It doesn't make sense to
set tickets that should be in a release to "Unscheduled".
I just talked with Adrien about this a couple of days ago, as he also made
questionable ticket changes (like moving even simple bugs out of the beta/1
milestone). It would be appreciated
If there are open and critical bugs in components at release time (and not
eons before), we can still remove them from the image (in the release branch
only).
In any case, if such conceptional changes in the way we track our tickets
are being made or discussed, including the mailing list in such discussions
is imperative; only a tiny fractions of our members hang out in IRC all the
time.
