#9688: Symlink _INPUTSERVER_ Missing ------------------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: AGMS | Owner: korli Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Servers/input_server | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All ------------------------------------+---------------------------- Comment (by X512): Replying to [ticket:9688 AGMS]: > If you want to compile an InputServer add-on, you need to link it against the appropriate (32/64 bit, GCC2/4, etc) InputServer. BeOS had a symbolic link named _INPUTSERVER_ in the /boot/develop/lib/x86 directory which pointed to the executable /boot/beos/system/servers/input_server. I listen this for the first time. BeBook says that input_server add-ons should be linked with symlink _APP_ pointed to "/boot/beos/system/servers/input_server" ("/boot/system/servers/input_server" for Haiku).
