Also /boot/common/var/log/syslog doesn't seem to have anything about my
main cpu, only the graphics card, and I couldn't find a syslog command per
se using Find.

I compiled it but it doesn't seem to tell me a cpuid, it wants me to give
it one. Where do I find the cpuid in the first place?
