This bug is pre-existing and has been there for a while. But some of the
leaks were (and maybe still are) in ffmpeg with not much we can do about
it.
I put a change on Gerrit to enable compiler errors instead of warnings for
the deprecated function, let's see if this can work with gcc2 as well,
then at least we can make sure to not use deprecated functions.
