My network on board device is rtl8169, so I'm not sure if my problem is
identical, but the symptoms are very similar. The device [https://xtrench-
run.com x trench run] was not detected until the most recent FreeBSD 9
driver updates were installed. Now it is incorrectly matched to the
symptoms here.
