Having a similar API for two "mirror" classes like BSoundPlayer and
BSoundConsumer definitely makes sense.
If Niels is listening maybe he can add you as a developer so you can take
ownership of this issue and any others you want to work on.
I think we could probably also you get commit access fairly quickly to the
Haiku repo.
