thx korli, finally got the laptop back and was able to test it. Compiled
the driver you posted here but it crashes exactly with the same error in
Read. I'm not sure where in the driver "read" is called. Could you give me
some hint how the read is forwarded to where it crashes? Or where in the
driver the crash happened? thanks!
