bonefish: libroot was *just* added in r43186 to unzip build, confirmed
working on gcc4 Ubuntu 11.10
alternate solutions? I couldn't find any flags that would reliably work.
really we need to remove the new DSO flags... but thats hard to do as they
are compiled in.
Maybe a gcc spec file?
