Comment:

 You are correct. But now I tried to add this to Installer (to
 makebootable, actually, since that's what Installer uses to make the
 partition bootable), and I can't understand how to change partition
 parameters from there. It seems the support for editing partition
 parameters after creation is missing or incomplete. Or maybe it's just
 undocumented and I can't understnad the code and how these BPartition,
 BMutablePartition, BPartitionHandle are supposed to fit together.
