#7877: Bootup Crash due to hda audio driver -------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: gerald.zajac | Owner: korli Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Drivers/Audio/HDA | Version: R1/alpha3 Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86 | -------------------------------+------------------------- I have an eMachines T5026 computer with an Intel D915GAG motherboard which crashes during the bootup process. It has a 3.06 GHz Pentium 4, Intel i915 chipset, and 512 MB RAM. If the audio is disabled in the BIOS, or the hda audio driver is disabled by deleting the link to the hda driver, Haiku alpha3 boots completely and runs fine. Since the audio chip works fine under Windows XP, it appears that his problem must be in the hda audio driver. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7877> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
