Since the signal branch merge in r42116 I have been experiencing an assert
failure which causes a kernel panic. This happens when I have set
LS_COLORS or some of the LESS_TERMCAP_* environment variables. The main
offender when these are set is /bin/clear, but I have experienced it with
some other commands as well(I believe lpe does it).
An example LS_COLORS which triggers it:
