#7617: anyboot image with block size 1024 doesn't boot from CD -----------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: mmadia | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: - General | Version: R1/Development Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | -----------------------+------------------------------ This r1a3-rc-r41789 + the changesets for stripping debug information in common/bin & common/lib (r41812, r41820) + editing build_haiku_image to use a blocksize of 1024K (instead of 2048). The resulting anyboot image will fail to boot on my hardware. To note, the image generated with 2048 blocksize will boot properly ''According to [the attached] syslog the block size is correctly determined as 2048, which seems to point to an IOCache or DMAResource issue.'' -- ingo -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7617> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
