Are both listed in media preferences? If yes, you may have to switch to the one that has speakers connected...the nvidia HDA transmits via the HDMI cable to the monitor. No luck. Connected my external speakers to the rear of my ASUS monitor that is getting signal from the Mac Mini via HDMI cable. No sound still. So, not sure if the one HDA that appears in the Media Preference is the built-in Mac Mini sound card that probably also works with the headphones speaker port on the Mac Mini or something else. Would think whatever the built-in sound for the headphones port would be the one needed for Haiku sound?? tj -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7196#comment:11> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
