r38816. Example [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMVB RMBV] file that doesn't
play in MediaPlayer unless renamed to e.g. .mp4, much like ticket #4501:

(Generally, isn't it a bit odd that you aren't able to explicitly open a
file with MP, but you can trick MP into playing it by renaming the file?
The "None of the files you wanted to play appear to be media files"
verdict seems rather unfounded.)
