I have a Compaq Presario 14XL244 laptop. The VT82xxxxx UHCI USB 1.1
Controller does not work. In reference to Ticket "#3313: VIA USB
controller not working", it provides a solution; however, the laptop's
BIOS does not have the option for PnP OS.
I installed the Alpha 2 and the most recent nightly CD's up to
r38647-x86gcc2hybrid. It is always the same. I attached the USB drive,
it briefly flashes as it connects, then nothing.
