#6618: BEAE "file format unrecognized" gcc4hybird build ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Reporter: stargatefan | Owner: scottmc Type: bug | Status: reopened Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications | Version: R1/Development Resolution: | Keywords: BeAe Blocked By: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86-64 | Blocking: ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Comment (by stippi): You are confused about what a "KDL" is. KDL stands for Kernel Debugging Land and usually refers to a crash of the kernel, or a kernel panic. The GDB session in your screenshot is just a regular application crash. At the GDB prompt, it is useful information if you type "bt" (for backtrace), which gives the call stack that lead up to the crash. In this case, the application crashes in it's own code. It could mean different things: The app does something wrong which happened to work by pure luck on BeOS. Or Haiku does something wrong which causes BeAE to trip. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/6618#comment:9> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
