#6087: Moving the mouse pointer when hiding the GUI ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Reporter: humdinger | Owner: stippi Type: enhancement | Status: closed Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/WebPositive | Version: R1/Development Resolution: invalid | Keywords: Platform: All | Blockedby: Patch: 0 | Blocking: ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Changes (by stippi): * status: new => closed * resolution: => invalid Comment: I see the problem, but I am afraid we can't do anything about it. Moving the mouse pointer is not only a no-go, it's impossible with absolute input devices like tablets or even your fingers in the future. If the page is already scrolled downwards, one could reveal the upper part to make the page's relative placement stay the same, but obviously it only works for scrolled pages and only for those that are scrolled farther than the distance of the navigation interface. I consider it a drawback of hiding the interface that one has to live with. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/6087#comment:1> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
