#5396: BeLife Zipped file doesn't decompress under Haiku --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Reporter: kvdman | Owner: nobody Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications | Version: R1/alpha1 Keywords: | Blockedby: Platform: All | Blocking: --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- This file was straight from BeBits, and although I'm unsure how the original author compressed it, Haiku's built-in decompressor, can't extract the contents. I've tested the Zip under both OSX and Windows with their default extractors, and they both have no problem... Haiku complains 'End of central-directory structure not found'. Either it's not a zip file, or it's part of a multi-volume archive'. Is it possible to compile Info-Zip to be more flexible with zips that have errors? The end effect is, with Windows and OSX I ended up with a perfectly extracted binary, in Haiku I didn't. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/5396> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
