#4852: The presence of a Soundblaster card causes BSOD. --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Reporter: haikuhacker | Owner: nobody Type: bug | Status: reopened Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: - General | Version: R1/alpha1 Resolution: | Keywords: Blockedby: | Platform: All Blocking: | --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Comment(by ccipri): Replying to [comment:10 haikuhacker]: > Removing hmulti did not work for me. I oringinally installed my soundblaster live because hmulti did not recognize my onboard HDA. I have since removed the soundbalster and do not intend to re-install it. Instead I will wait for my HDA bug to be addressed. Then, if your problem will not be fixed, you can start in safe mode, and move for example from the folder "services" the "media_server" into home- folder, and when you want to enable it and try it again, move the media_server back to the origianl folder. I also have to use haiku without sound, and it's better than nothing. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/4852#comment:11> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
