You use the "blocklisting" feature, either via the bootloader
 (temporarily) or via settings file. Described in more detail: https://www
 .haiku-os.org/guides/daily-tasks/disable-package-entries
 Thanks so much for the quick reply and for apparently figuring out the
 source of the problem! I did blocklist the driver and can confirm that the
 system boots normally now when the ipro100 driver is not loaded.
