The affected code is x86_64 only. A workaround may be unsetting
 ENABLE_SIGNAL_BASED_VM_TRAPS in wtf/Platform enable, but I still have to
 finish a build to be sure.
This workaround does not work for me, it still crashes.

It seems that flag was introduced in 2018, but i can't find where it is
 used

 It's macros all the way down. Search for SIGNAL_BASED_VM_TRAPS. It guards
 (among other things) the code in the first report and I had not read the
 second, so it may be that I'm also wrong in the problem being x86_64 only,
 though we now have 3 x86_64 crashing and 1 x86 not crashing.
