#17004: The installed EFI bootloader doesn't start automatically (regression)

 Reporter:  vidrep              |       Owner:  nobody
     Type:  bug                 |      Status:  new
 Priority:  normal              |   Milestone:  Unscheduled
Component:  System/Boot Loader  |     Version:  R1/beta2
 Keywords:                      |  Blocked By:
 Blocking:                      |    Platform:  All
--------------------------------+--------------------------
vendor 8086: Intel Corporation device 22b1: Atom/Celeron/Pentium Processor
x5-E8000/J3xxx/N3xxx Integrated Graphics Controller EFI only

Instead of booting to the desktop after installing to a GPT drive, it
first invokes the Haiku boot menu. Often it will trigger the debugger for
 "First Boot Prompt".

I have narrowed down the issue to between hrev54558 (working) and
 hrev54569 (not working).
Suspected commit is either hrev54560 or hrev54561.

Debugger report for "First Boot Prompt" attached (hrev54571)
