Yep, it was the the long descriptors.
When starting Haiku with u-boot, TTBCR contains 0x8000...blabla, i.e. LPAE
(aka EAE) is enabled.
If I initialize TTBCR to zero, I start getting log messages from the
kernel also on u-boot (and still 4th icon on the boot splash with
TianoCore)
