Acer IconiaTab W500 is working fine for me.
Unfortunately, from this report it is impossible to know the reason of
tablet stopped booting. It may be unrelated to Haiku. Have you tried to
press and hold Windows button when power on tablet? At least for W500 it
disable fast boot and may solve issue.
