 At least SERVER_NAME and SERVER_PORT are part of the standard interface
 for CGI scripts: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3875

 And apparently so is HTTP_HOST even if I can't see it directly in the RFC:

 Do we run cgit as a CGI script? If so, why isn't the webserver filling
 these in correctly?
