#13229: Mail system doesn't get new mail

I'm running nightly-hrev50883-x86_gcc2_hybrid, which I downloaded. On an
Intel NUC. I set up a mail account. I tuned the config settings for where
my inbox is, sent mail, etc. The Inbox folder shows mail in the server
mailbox. The problem is that it doesn't show new mail that arrives after I
booted the system. I can see on another system that the server has new
mail. Doesn't appear in the Inbox. The menu item to "Check for mail now"
doesn't change this. There are no alerts. When I reboot, the new mail
appears in the Inbox.
