The release process defined in Haiku is:
* Alpha: because features are missing
* Beta: because there are bugs left
* R1: when we have all the planned features, and no bugs
We will stay in beta for some time according to this. We will probably get
bored with fixing the bugs before they all go away, but it seems sane to
have one or two beta releases and improve the stability and other
problems. I think we will tag the "final" R1 only when we are already well
into R2 development.
