I'm not entirely certain right now, but I believe a thread that's
currently trapped in the kernel debug facilities can't be killed, Axel or
Ingo might be able to answer that with more certainty. With regards to the
other ticket though, I see no mention of thread kills there, so I'm
unclear as to how that one specifically applies. Did you mean a different
ticket number?
