are designed for exactly that purpose that you may want to use instead
since all the heavy lifting is done for you, including power management and

I need the sound triggered from data from an accelerometer. Also it has
spots on it for leds, so I was thinking of adding on op amp circuit
triggered from those outputs to light up some really strong leds. Am I way
off base or closing in?
