So a few of you came to World Maker Faire last year and saw the Moat Boat
Paddle Battle (MBPB) in action and said "Wow we wish we had known ahead of
time that this was going on". Well, now you do! If you are coming to NY for
World Maker Faire and looking for some fun things to do, look no further.
The MBPB is a contest created by Mandy and I with our new hackerspace here
in RI. Contestants must design and 3D print their own elastic powered boats
to race head to head down a 12 foot long trough. This event is a ton of fun
and the best part... the winner goes how with a brand new 3D printer!
It would be great to see some HackPGH folks (not just alumni) battle it out
in the moats.
