Dear Friends & Neighbors,

I appreciate all outreach to stay in touch through phone calls,
emails, distanced
porch-side chats, and friendly walk-bys with shoutouts and waves as we all
negotiate the everchanging environment of the coronavirus pandemic.

If you have a bit of cabin fever and want/need to do something positive, I
could really use your help on a town-wide initiative ~ the development of a
community preservation plan. I would love to hear your creative ideas on
how to improve open space, outdoor recreation, affordable housing, and
historic preservation in Watertown.

Before the virus hit, the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) had
planned to hold small neighborhood meetings (Meetings in a Box) and another
public forum in April to share and gather more ideas from the community.
That’s all on hold for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, it would a
great if you, your family members, friends, neighbors would each take our
survey and thus share your ideas electronically. Below you’ll find a link
to the survey as well as additional info about the the CPA. The more, the
merrier.

As the late George Carlin used to sign off with “Take care of yourself. And
take care of someone else too.”

Stay healthy. With warm regards,

Elodia
